These terms and conditions of use ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and DCPL. Use of this Portal constitutes your unconditional acceptance of these Terms herein and by all terms, policies and guidelines incorporated by reference. These Terms apply to your use of this Website, and do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with DCPL, its subsidiaries or affiliates. If you are using the Site on behalf of any entity, you further represent and warrant that you are authorized to accept these Terms on such entity's behalf, and that such entity agrees to indemnify DCPL for violations of these Terms. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use this website.
 

Important note for students registering on Campus Careers website
 

These Terms & Conditions are specifically for students seeking jobs or internships on the Website. Any violation of these T&Cs may result in a student’s internship or job application being declined.

1. In order to access certain content, services, products or benefits on Website, you will be asked to register and create an account. By registering an account on our Website, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older. As part of the registration process, you may be asked to select a username and password, and may be required to provide Campus Careers with certain information about yourself, including some types of personally identifying information such as your email addresses, phone number and your employer or educational institution. You agree that the information that you provide to us on registration and at all other times will be true, accurate, current and complete. You also agree that you will ensure that this information is kept accurate and up to date at all times. Any information that you provide Campus Careers through our Website or email is subject to DCPL’s Privacy Policy, which is hereby incorporated into these Terms by reference as if set forth fully herein.

2. Without limiting the foregoing, you are fully responsible for your account, including use of the account by any third party, and maintaining the confidentiality of your password

3. You must provide with accurate and complete information at the time of job/internship application or creating an account on Campus Careers – any misrepresentation of information, or hiding of material information, or impersonation would result in your application being declined on the website and you being reported to your college administration.

4. Campus Careers may, from time to time upload certain job openings on the website. It is your responsibility to regularly check the Website for job/internship openings and apply on time. Students will not be allowed to apply for a job/internship opening once the last date for applying expires.

5. You will be allowed to appear for only one more interview once you have received a job or internship offer through Campus Careers, provided that the interview date does not fall within 30 working days of your joining the company that gave you the first offer. If the joining date of the first company gets delayed and you are unable to attend the second interview in accordance to the above rule, Campus Careers will in no way be responsible for the opportunity you have missed. 

6. Attending a second interview after getting an offer through Campus Careers represents that your first offer would automatically get nullified in case you are given a job/internship offer in the second company and that you will have to accept the second offer.

7. Once you accept a job or internship offer, you must make every possible effort to join and start the job or internship on time. To not show up or to decline an earlier accepted job/internship offer at the last moment, or to go incommunicado creates a very poor impression of you in front of the employer and reduces the credibility of the student community at large. Any such behaviour will not only result in your application being declined on Campus Careers but we will also report it to your college administration.

8. It is your responsibility to pay attention to a job/internship’s complete details (profile, start date, location, duration, skills required etc.) before applying for it. Irrelevant applications will result in your account being penalized (we may stop you from applying to future openings or decline your application all together). 

9. You are strictly prohibited from transferring/selling/sharing employer’ data (contact details etc.), for free or for a fee, with any other entity. Any such attempt would result in your application on Campus Careers being permanently declined and would be liable for legal action against you. We take our users’ data privacy and protection very seriously and have zero tolerance policy towards any privacy violation.

10. Registering on Campus Careers means you are a sincere student who would be expected to demonstrate high standards of professionalism in your dealings with other users and employers – you are required to maintain these standards to your best ability.

11. If you come across any suspicious activity, content or behaviour on Campus Careers by an employer or another user, you must report it to Campus Careers immediately so that necessary actions can be taken – this is both your duty and obligation.

12. DCPL will not be responsible for enforcing terms of the contract you sign with your employer. The role of Campus Careers ends once you join the job or internship. 

13. While we make our best efforts to bring you the best job/internship opportunities possible, Campus Careers does not guarantee a job or internship to a student.
     

Rights to Website and Contents thereof
 

This Website is owned and operated by DCPL. All the content featured or displayed on this Website, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, data, images (photographic and moving), illustrations, software and selection and arrangement thereof ("Content"), is owned by DCPL. All elements of this Website, including, but not limited to, the general design and the Content thereof, are protected by copyright, moral rights, trademark and other laws related to the protection of intellectual property rights. Except for, as explicitly permitted under this, or other written license or agreement with DCPL, no portion or element of this Website or its content may be copied or retransmitted via any means. All related rights shall remain the exclusive property of DCPL, its licensors or its third-party image partners.

Using the Website

This Website and its Content are intended for Users of campuscareers.in, the division of DCPL. You may not use this Website or the content for any purpose, which is not related to your business with campuscareers.in. Any use of the Content, this Website or any of its functionality for a purpose not permitted by these Terms is grounds for the immediate revocation of any usernames, pass codes or other permissions that may have been granted by campuscareers.in on behalf of DCPL for use of this Website. You are specifically prohibited from: (i) downloading, copying, or retransmitting any or all of the Website or the Content without, or in violation of, a written license or agreement with DCPL; (ii) using any data mining or similar data gathering or extraction methods; (iii) manipulating or otherwise displaying the site or the content by using, framing or similar navigational technology; (iv) registering, subscribing, unsubscribing, or attempting to register, subscribe any party for any the site if you are not expressly authorized by such party to do so; and (v) using the Site or Content other than for its intended purpose.
